Welcome to Alloa Online - Alloa's Community Website.  Alloa is the largest town in the historic county of Clackmannanshire in central Scotland.  It is situated on the north bank of the River Forth, with the Ochil Hills forming a glorious background.  Written information regarding the early history of the town is scarce, however official records first mention Alloa as a small hamlet clustered round the Tower of the Erskines.

You will find local information, community groups and much more here on Alloa Online.  Alloa Online was originally founded under the  Clacksnet umbrella to promote local community use of the Internet, & provide assistance for local community groups to get on-line & have a web presence.  Clacksnet had now been disbanded, but Alloa.org is still operated by volunteers to benefit the local community.
